Workshops you will really want to attend…

SMN deliver many of our workshops in partnership with local authorities, National Governing Bodies, County Sports Partnerships or professional bodies.  We do also run our own events, so whatever your involvement in sport, if you are interested in talking to us about delivering a workshop, just get in touch.

In terms of facilities, all we really need is a room with a white wall and we normally recommend a maximum number of around 25-30 people.

SMN’s workshops are always informative and interesting; sometimes people even say they are ‘humorous’.  ‘Thought-provoking’ and ‘’jargon-free’ are two other phrases often used to describe our workshops by leisure centre managers and staff, sports development officers, club managers and volunteers and others who attend SMN’s courses.

Increasingly, SMN are being asked to advice clubs, NGBs, or local authorities on how they can solve specific problems or develop opportunities when it comes to run facilities or clubs or develop action plans on how to make sport vibrant, visible and viable.
