Welcome to the Sports Marketing Network Webinar series

Helping providers of community sport and physical activity to become more vibrant, visible and viable

To get funding for your sport, you must become more than sport

3 webinars which can help you become generate income to become a sustainable and viable enterprise

Across the world, many, if not most providers of sport and physical activity are facing serious, often unprecedented, financial challenges.

Yes, most Western governments announced various support programmes early in the lockdown and that has initially saved many sports clubs and leisure businesses, but for the many sole traders, such as yoga trainers, fitness instructors, physios and others, survival is not necessarily a given. Also, we talk to many sports for change providers who tend to work with marginalised groups keeping contact with their clients right now, as many of those are not digitally savvy.

Yes, we have also come across many clubs and groups who changed their approach overnight and have developed online training and support, supported their communities, engaged with new groups and are facing the new ‘normal’ in a strong and vibrant position.

Whereas those who went into hibernation may struggle, but I hope not

This is what we will be covering in the 3 webinars we are running at 3 pm on Thursday 11th June, 18th June and 25th June

At the first webinar we will be having a look at how commercial sponsorship will look like in the new ‘normal’.
At the second webinar we will cover the whole issue of grant funding and at the the third we will highlight user payments and events.

There will plenty of case-studies, templates, and action plans

In between the webinars we will be producing follow-up notes which we will be sharing amongst participants.

We reckon each of the webinars will last 30-40 minutes and they will be recorded and made available on SMN’s website fpr you.

If you have particular points you want us to cover please let us know.

We look forward to hearing from you and, hopefully, you will want to join us.

PS. If you want to talk about booking SMN to run specific online support for your colleagues, clubs, providers and others, then please get in touch with me Svend Elkjaer svend@smnuk.com 01423 326 660
